How Does Dual-tasking Affect Performance? Call for Participants

Call for participants for the study investigating the impact of dual-tasking on performance.

Study description:

  • This study investigates how performing a physical and cognitive task at the same time affects performance
  • Physical task: navigate an obstacle course while carrying a backpack
  • Cognitive task: working memory task

You will be required to:

  • Attend a 2-hour laboratory session involving:
    • 1x physical task
    • 1x cognitive task
    • 1x physical + cognitive task

We are looking for the participants who:

  • are between 18 and 35 years of age
  • are physically active (30 minutes of moderate physical activity at least 3 times per week over the last three months)
  • are in good mental health
  • do not have any hearing or visual impairment (except corrected vision)
  • are not pregnant
