Engineering at 鶹Ƶ

We have been teaching courses in engineering since 1909 and are one of the largest engineering universities in the UK.

We are proud of our reputation in teaching and research with major employers targeting our graduates because of their unique combination of transferable skills and technical knowledge.

100 years of women engineers at 鶹Ƶ

In 1919, four female engineering students were admitted onto otherwise entirely male dominated engineering programmes at the then 鶹Ƶ Technical College. 100 years on, 鶹Ƶ now welcomes and celebrates many female engineers every year.

Find out how we are marking the centenary of this milestone and discover how our students are shaping the future of engineering.
